ZZ - Zamioculcas Zamiifolia
This beauty is extremely low maintenance and adaptable. The waxy green-leafed plant is so easy to care for it’s like having a fake plant! No joke. But seriously, the ZZ plant is perfect for those lacking a green thumb or those who desire to add green to their rooms without worry. Virtually indestructible, the ZZ plant can take months of neglect and low light and still look amazing. It's also a great air purifier!
LIGHT: Thrives in medium to bright indirect light, although it can tolerate low light very well.
WATERING: The only way to kill this plant is to water it too often (you’ll know if that’s happening if the leaves begin to turn yellow and fall off). The ZZ plant is drought tolerant and wants to be completely dry before watering. Water thoroughly but infrequently, we recommend a 1-3 month watering schedule based on how much light it is getting...once a month for bright light, every two for medium light, and stretch it to every three months watering for low light conditions.
Please note: a ZZ plant in a 10-inch diameter pot ranges from 1-1.5 feet tall, and a ZZ plant in a 14-inch diameter nursery pot can range from 1.5-3 feet tall. The maturity, markings, color, and size may vary as each plant is unique! Images are used for general reference and guidance only.
